Dawn states: Teen Programming is Great! : Ugly Sweater Party

We had a party with the teens at the other library in our system, and we all wore some really crazy and ugly sweaters! The party was fun and simple and is something I think other libraries with teens could combine on. Please read on to find about the party and to see the group picture with Santa!

For activities, we made hot chocolate, decorated cookies, made snowflakes from Popsicle sticks, colored CD ornaments, and played some games. In addition, we found out that Santa was in the park next to the library, so we all went over and took a photo with Santa!

This was a creative, engaging, and relaxed party that we all enjoyed participating in. It comes together very easily when decorating cookies and ugly sweaters are involved. It made it so nice to partner on this with another library involved with teens! :) Do you take part in wearing ugly sweaters? Leave a comment below and let me know!
